In the preceding financial year (01.07.2009 - 30.06.2010) Borussia Dortmund
recorded an individual annual result of EUR -2.8 Mio. (previous year EUR
-2.9 Mio.) and a Group annual result of EUR -6.1 Mio. (previous year EUR
5.9 Mio.). The deviation of the annual results between the individual and
the - according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
determined - Group financial statement mainly and as in the previous last
years before resulted from increased depreciations concerning the stadium
which however did not have an impact on liquidity.

The liabilites in the individual financial statement decreased from EUR
61.3 Mio. by EUR 2.1 Mio. to EUR 59.2 Mio.. Earnings before interest,
taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted EUR 9.3 Mio. (EUR
10.5 Mio. previous year) in the individual financial statement and EUR 16.7
Mio. (previous year EUR 17.0 Mio.) in the Group financial statement.

The revenues in the individual financial statement in a total amount EUR
100.9 Mio. (previous year 108.0) spread as follows: EUR 23.4 Mio. (previous
year EUR 22.2 Mio.) Ticketing; EUR 21.1 Mio. (previous year EUR 22.4 Mio.)
TV-Rights; EUR 38.9 Mio. (previous year EUR 39.1 Mio.) Sponsoring; EUR 4.9
Mio. (previous year EUR 11.5 Mio.) Transfers; EUR 12.6 Mio (previous year
EUR 12.7 Mio.) Sales / Conference / Catering. Total operating performance
of the company reduced from EUR 110.3 Mio. (previous year) by EUR 7.0 Mio.
to EUR 103.3 Mio in the individual financial statement. Other operating
income of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA increased from EUR 2.3 Mio. by
EUR 0.1 Mio. to EUR 2.4 Mio.

Personnel expenses of the company in the individual financial statement
decreased from EUR 46.9 Mio. by EUR 2.3 Mio. to EUR 44.6 Mio. in the
preceding financial year. Depreciations in the individual financial
statement reduced as well from EUR 10.6 Mio. by EUR 0.3 Mio. to EUR 10.3
Mio.
Compared to the previous year other operating expenses decreased from EUR
52.9 Mio. by EUR 3.5 Mio. to EUR 49.4 Mio.

The financial result in the individual financial statement improved from
EUR -2.8 Mio. by EUR 1.2 Mio to EUR -1.6 Mio.
