Borussia Dortmund announces preliminary results for the third quarter (Q3) of the fiscal year 2014/2015

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA announces preliminary results for the
third quarter (January 1st until March 31st, 2015) of the fiscal year
2014/2015:

Borussia Dortmund Group recorded an EBITDA in an amount of EUR 2.7 m. in
the third quarter.

According to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) the
Borussia Dortmund Group total comprehensive income amounted EUR -8.4 m. in
the third quarter (previous third quarter EUR 0.2 m.) and accumulated EUR
-4.7 m. in the first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine months
report period EUR 8.4 m.). Group Revenues amounted EUR 53.8 m. in the third
quarter (previous third quarter EUR 56.4 m.) and accumulated EUR 204.1 m.
in the first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine months report
period EUR 193.0 m.). Group gross revenue amounted EUR 54.6 m. in the third
quarter (previous third quarter EUR 57.5 m.) and accumulated EUR 207.8 m.
in the first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine months report
period EUR 196.7 m.). Group Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation
and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted EUR 2.7 m. in the third quarter
(previous third quarter EUR 9.1 m.).

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA recorded Earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) in an amount of EUR -9.0 m. (previous third quarter EUR 0.3
m.) and accumulated in an amount of EUR -6.5 m. (previous nine months
report period EUR 6.6 m.) in the first nine months of the fiscal year
2014/2015. Earnings before taxes (EBT) in the third quarter amounted EUR
-8.9 m. (previous third quarter EUR -0.2 m.) and the result in the
respective report period amounted
 EUR -8.9 m. (previous third quarter EUR -0.3 m.). The result for the first
nine months of the fiscal year 2014/2015 amounted EUR -7.2 m. (previous
nine months EUR 7.7 m.).

Despite the impact on earnings as consequence of the complete repayment of
loan liabilities of the Borussia Dortmund Group in the ongoing fiscal year
the management as hitherto expects a positive Group result for the total
fiscal year 2014/2015.
