Despite of the financial crisis and declining revenues in an amount of EUR
7,3 Mio. Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA improved the result in the first
nine months (July 1st, 2009 - March 31st, 2010) of the current fiscal year
2009/2010 by EUR 0.2 Mio. compared to the previous nine month report period
and finally recorded a result in an amount of EUR -1,7 Mio. in the first
nine months of the fiscal year 2009/2010.

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA recorded Earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) in an amount of EUR - 1.0 Mio. (previous third quarter EUR
-0.2 Mio.) in the third quarter (January 1st, 2010 - March 31st, 2010) of
the fiscal year 2009/2010 and culminated in an amount of EUR -0,5 Mio.
(previous nine months report period EUR 0.2 Mio.) in the first nine months
(July 1st, 2009 - March 31st, 2010) of the fiscal year 2009/2010. Earnings
before taxes (EBT) in the third quarter amounted EUR -1.7 Mio. (previous
third quarter EUR -1.1 Mio.) and the result in the respective report period
amounted EUR -1.8 Mio. (previous third quarter EUR -1.1 Mio.).

According to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) the
Borussia Dortmund Group result amounted EUR -2.6 Mio. in the third quarter
(previous third quarter EUR -1.8 Mio.) and culminated EUR -4.0 Mio. in the
first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine months report period
EUR -4.1 Mio.). Group Revenues amounted EUR 24.3 Mio. in the third quarter
(previous third quarter EUR 25.2 Mio.) and culminated EUR 82.5 Mio. in the
first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine months report period
EUR 88.2 Mio.). Group gross revenue amounted EUR 24.6 Mio. in the third
quarter (previous third quarter EUR 25.6 Mio.) and culminated EUR 84.1 Mio.
in the first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine months report
period EUR 89.5 Mio.). Group Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation
and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted EUR 3.1 Mio. in the third quarter
(previous third quarter EUR 3.9 Mio.).
