Borussia Dortmund announces results of the third quarter 2012/2013

Borussia Dortmund also in the third quarter (January 1st, 2013 - March
31st, 2013) of the fiscal year 2012/2013 with considerably improved
revenues and results compared to the previous reference report period.

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA recorded Earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) in an amount of EUR 3.0 Mio. (previous third quarter EUR 0.7
Mio.) and accumulated in an amount of EUR 18.3 Mio. (previous nine months
report period EUR 16.3 Mio.) in the first nine months of the fiscal year
2012/2013. Earnings before taxes (EBT) in the third quarter amounted EUR
3.0 Mio. (previous third quarter EUR 0.8 Mio.) and the result in the
respective report period amounted EUR -2.6 Mio. (previous third quarter EUR
0.8 Mio.). The result for the first nine months of the fiscal year
2012/2013 amounted EUR 17.9 Mio. (previous nine months EUR 15.5 Mio.).

According to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) the
Borussia Dortmund Group total comprehensive income amounted EUR 2.1 Mio. in
the third quarter (previous third quarter EUR 0.0 Mio.) and accumulated EUR
16.3 Mio. in the first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine months
report period EUR 12.8 Mio.). Group Revenues amounted EUR 55.7 Mio. in the
third quarter (previous third quarter EUR 39.0 Mio.) and accumulated  EUR
179.8 Mio. in the first nine months of the fiscal year (previous nine
months report period EUR 140.4 Mio.). Group gross revenue amounted EUR 56.3
Mio. in the third quarter (previous third quarter EUR 39.7 Mio.) and
accumulated  EUR 183.9 Mio. in the first nine months of the fiscal year
(previous nine months report period EUR 143.5 Mio.). Group Earnings before
interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted EUR 9.2
Mio. in the third quarter (previous third quarter EUR 6.1 Mio.).

The deviation between the Group and the single quarterly result is mainly
based on higher depreciation and amortization regarding the stadium in the
Group's statement.
