Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA recorded Earnings before taxes in an
amount of EUR 16.7 Mio. (previous first half-year EUR 4.3 Mio.) in the
single first half-year statement of the fiscal year 2011/2012 (01.07.2011 -
31.12.2011). According to International Financial Reporting Standards
(IFRS) the Borussia Dortmund Group profit amounted EUR 12.8 Mio in the
report period, an increase by EUR 11.5 Mio. compared to the previous first
half-year. The participation in the European club competition of the UEFA
Champions League led to significantly increased group revenues in an amount
of EUR 101.4 Mio - an increase by EUR 30.4 Mio. or 42.8% compared to the
previous first half year - and to considerable improved semi-annual results
in the individual and group statement.

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA recorded in the first half of the fiscal
year 2011/2012 (01.07.2011 - 31.12.2012) earnings before interest and taxes
(EBIT) in an amount of EUR 15.6 Mio. (previous first half-year EUR 4.8).
Earnings before taxes (EBT) amounted EUR 16.7 Mio. (previous first
half-year EUR 4.3 Mio.) and the semi-annual result amounted EUR 14.7 Mio.
(previous first half-year EUR 2.6 Mio.) in the report period.

According to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) the
Borussia Dortmund Group profit amounted EUR 12.8 Mio. (previous first
half-year EUR 1.3 Mio.) in the first half-year 2011/2012. Earnings before
taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted EUR 27.3
Mio. (previous first half-year EUR 14.6 Mio.). Group Earnings before taxes
and interest (EBIT) wereEUR 17.7 Mio. (previous first half-year EUR 5.6
Mio.). Group revenues amounted EUR 101.4 Mio. (previous first half-year EUR
71.0 Mio.). Personnel expenses changed to EUR 34.0 Mio. (previous first
half-year EUR 28.7 Mio.). Depreciation and amortization resulted in EUR 9.5
Mio. (previous first half-year EUR 9.0 Mio.). Other operating expenses
amounted EUR 36.2 Mio. (previous first half-year EUR 26.2 Mio.) in the
report period. The financial result amounted EUR -2.4 Mio (previous first
half-year EUR -2.8 Mio.), the tax result amounted EUR -2.5 Mio. (previous
first half-year EUR 1.52 Mio.).

The deviation between the Group and the single semi-annual result is mainly
based on higher depreciation and amortization regarding the stadium in the
Group's first half-year statement.
