Evonik Industries AG, Essen, Germany, on September 15th, 2014 has given us
notice pursuant to section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) that its share in the voting rights of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co.
KGaA, Rheinlanddamm 207-209, 44137 Dortmund, Germany, on September 15th,
2014 exceeded the threshold of 10% and at that day amounted to 14.78% (this
corresponds to 13,600,509 voting rights).

RAG-Stiftung, Essen, Germany, on September 15th, 2014 has given us notice
pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG that its share in the voting rights of
Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA, Rheinlanddamm 207-209, 44137 Dortmund,
Germany, on September 15th, 2014 exceeded the threshold of 10% and at that
day amounted to 14.78% (this corresponds to 13,600,509 voting rights),
whereby 14.78% (this corresponds to 13,600,509 voting rights) of the
aforementioned voting rights have to be attributed pursuant to section 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG. Attributed voting rights are held by the
following company under its control, whose share of the voting rights in
Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA amounts to 3% or more:

- Evonik Industries AG.
