Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA recorded Earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) in an amount of EUR 1.0 Mio. (previous year EUR 3.1 Mio.) in
the first quarter of the fiscal year 2009/2010 (01.07.2009 - 30.09.2009).
Earnings before taxes (EBT; previous year EUR 2.6 Mio.) amounted as well as
the financial result EUR 0.8 Mio. in the report period.
According to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) the
Borussia Dortmund Group quarterly financial result amounted EUR -0.1 Mio.
(previous year EUR 1.6 Mio.) taking revenues in an amount of EUR 30.1 Mio.
(previous year EUR 34.6 Mio.) and gross revenues in amount of EUR 30.6 Mio.
(previous year EUR 35.1 Mio.) into consideration. Group Earnings before
interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted EUR 5.6
Mio. (previous year EUR 7.5 Mio.), Group Earnings before interest and taxes
(EBIT) resulted in EUR 1.3 Mio. (previous year EUR 3.1 Mio.) in the report
period.
