Rumors circulated recently in the market that Deutsche Bank AG (hereinafter "Deutsche Bank") intends to acquire shares of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA (hereinafter "Borussia Dortmund") by a way of capital increase.
So far no position was taken on these rumors.
In the course of today's late afternoon it has been decided not to continue previous exploratory talks. As a result of a participation of Deutsche Bank as shareholder of Borussia Dortmund will not take place.
In order to safeguard its sustainable growth Borussia Dortmund however does not exclude a participation of one or more prestigious company or companies as shareholder and will therefore continue further exploratory talks with more interested companies.
